676 Confirmed COVID-19 Cases in Bulgaria
The confirmed COVID-19 cases in Bulgaria are 676, national coronavirus task force chief Major General Ventsislav Moutafchiiski told a regular briefing on Monday morning. There are seven new cases of which six patients have been hospitalized. The fatalities are 31, three recent.
The hospitalized patients are 230, of whom 36 in intensive care.
Nearly 200 people each in the mountain town of Bansko and nearby Dobrinishte have been tested for antibodies. Nearly 200 persons back from a maritime military exercises will be tested too.
Bulgaria now has 15,000 doses of hydroxychloroquine phosphate, enough for the treatment of 16,000 patients.
On Sunday Bulgaria exported 32 tonnes of foods to the United Arab Emirates, from where 15 tonnes of medical supplies were imported - masks, gloves and protective clothing.
Moutafchiiski declined to comment a case in a church where communion was given with the same spoon. He again appealed to people not to visit churches during the Orthodox Holy Week and Easter.
